I had lived most of my life in Utah where I was a general NFL fan without a favorite team before moving to Greensboro, N.C. in June of 2003. I hopped on the Panthers bandwagon faster than you can say “Harris Teeter” and have been passionate ever since. A statue commemorating the 2003 Cardiac Cats would be a good way to remember what Jerry built while putting the focus on the team and the fans, not the former owner.
